The Masquerade

Here it is everyone! The party you have all been waiting anxiously for.....THE MASQUERADE!!!! Have fun trying to guess everyone's identities!!!!

Remember all to post in third person.
Have fun, and the revealing is at 12 PM Eastern time.

Midnight Eastern time. If we did it Pacific time, people on the east coast would have to stay up until two and we don't want to do that to you guys. So the unveiling is as followed:
12am eastern time
11pm Central time
10pm Mountain time
9pm Pacific time.

It's officially 7 PM Forks time!
So start introducing yourselves. Post your gowns, tuxes, masks, and whatever else you want for the festivities officially begin now.

A couple walks into the room with arms linked together. The man was wearing a pair of black and red Tripp pants and combat boots paired with a white button down and a red tie along with a simple black top hat, black fingerless learther gloves, and a simple black mask with an intricate sliver design. The woman on his arm was wearing black leather pants with a belted black lace over skirt paired with a black leather corset top and a blood red jewel on a silver chain around her neck. Like her partner, she also wore combat boots, black leather fingerless gloves, a black top hat, and an identical mask. The man released his date's arm, but firmly took her hand and spoke words that echoed like chimes, "Good evening everyone. I am Damion, and my date's name is Alex. We are pleased to meet you all."

Aline and Rylan walked through the archway entrance to the ballroom.
"This is so exciting! I can't wait to guess to who everyone is, and see all the amazing ball gowns and masks," Aline exclaimed.
Rylan simply smiled down at her with a loving expression. I can't wait to see her face when I give her the surprise tonight, he thought.

Eden stepped into the magnificently decorated ballroom, his wife, McKenize attached to his arm. "Darling, isn't this room wonderful?" he asked his wife, staring down at her adoringly through the eyeholes of his black mask.
"Indeed it is Eden, indeed it is. I've never seen such elegant decorations before in my life. Tonight will definitely be the most memorable night of my life!"
"Did I tell you that you look divine in that dress?"
McKenize flushed a deep red at her husbands compliment. "Thank you, dearest. You look quite lovely in your tux as well."
"Lovely? That wasn't exactly what I was going for..."
"You know what i mean," McKenize giggled, slapping her husband on the arm.
"Indeed I did," he replied simply.

Isabelle and Simon walk into the ballroom, both dressed in the fashion of the early 1800's. Isabelle, after searching all week, has finally found the perfect dress. Its deep wine red, enhancing her long black hair, showing her highlights. The bodice is low but covers her bosom with two inches of creamy lace. The over robe is shear black and sleeveless, giving her a dark and mysterious look. Her hair in up in a curly style with wine red ribbon woven through out. Her mask is the same wine red with black swirls around the eyes. Its a half mask, showing her deep red lips and white smile.
Simon, with his hand to the small of her back, walks beside her. His dinner suit is black with a blood red rose in the pocket. His hair is unkept but stylish and he is utterly handsome. His mask was also a half mask showing his secretive smile.
Isabelle looks over at him and smiles, knowing she did a wonderful job making him look a little.. whats the word.. she smiled. Yes. Sexy.
"Let the party begin." Isabelle said as Simon led her to the dance floor.
"Mhm." Simon agreed, taking her hand and begining a waltz.

Damion and Alex glide over to Aline and Rylan, moving so gracefully they look as though their feet aren't even touching the floor. "Hello, your dress is to die for Aline," Alex spoke gently.
"Yes, and Rylan," Damion said as he turned to look at Rylan's outfit, and then doing a double take between them, "I'm sorry, but I think you two have been watching too many Pirates of the Caribbean movies." As Damion said this Alex laughed a little and said, " Don't mind him, he means no harm."

"Others have arrived," Eden pointed out. "Shall we go meet new friends?"
McKenize smiled at her husband and nodded her head. "Yes, let's go. Do you see that woman's dress? The white one? Have you ever seen such an elegant dress? It is breathtaking! The amount of cloth and thread it must have taken to make that dress boggles the mind!"
"My dear, that's enouigh about the dress. Let's go talk to them." Placing his hand on her back he guided her toward the two couples conversing. "Good evening," Eden greeted them in a highly eloquent and sophisticated voice. "My nime is Eden Montieth and this is my wife, McKenize Montieth. Are you all enjoying the masquerade?"

A graceful couple enters the room. The man shakes out his shaggy brown hair and straightens out the jacket on his tux. The couple's matching combat boots made squeaks on the floor as they approached the stair case.
"You look amazing" James whispered into Aimee Lynn's ear. She brushed her curls out with her fingers.
"Thank you. You don't look to shabby yourself" she replied. James linked his arm though hers and they walked down the staircase together

Aline and Rylan watched as the new couple waltzed gracefully toward them.
"How very nice to meet you two as well, Alex,"Aline nodded toward her,"And Damion." Another nod.
"Her dress was rather difficult to find," Rylan said as he smiled.
Damion gave an understanding shake of his head. Aline and Alex looked on, happy that their men were tolerating each other.
Aline took Alex's hand, "Do you mind if we go walk around the room? We won't be long." Without waiting for answers, the two ladies walked away.

"Thank you for complimenting my dress. Rylan was right; it did take a while to find. I am so picky about some things," Aline smiled impishly.
"It's alright. I think the pirate costume works well with the Masquerade," Alex explained.
We're going to be good friends. They both thought.

"Yes, Eden and McKenzie, I am rather enjoying my night. Thank you for complimenting the dress as well. It seems all that hard work to find it paid off," Aline smirked.

Simon gently glides Isabelle to the small group conversing over by the hearth. He wants to greet everybody.
"Hello" he says, smiling wide. "this was a wonderful idea."
"I agree!" Isabelle gives a small curtsy to everyone. "Hello all!"

*The grand double doors swing open and all eyes turn to the entrance as a serene couple enter, looking as if they were flying rather than walking*
*They enter in perfect synchronization. A perfect couple in Black and Turquoise. The male in a suit completely of black: and a mask of Turquoise (that looks like this minus the beads and feather): His hair is mahogany, curly, and flirtatiously in his eyes. *They walk in with coy smiles on their features and wanting to make a bit of an entrance (and never missing a chance to show off just a little) they gracefully sweep themselves onto the dance floor*
*They make a full circle holding hands, presenting themselves to the group, and then began to dance a very graceful and loving waltz, never taking their eyes off of each others'. When the song ends they sweetly kiss each other and with a bow for the beautiful crowd they back out of the spotlight and begin to mingle with the crowd*

Aimee Lynn and James walked over to Simon and Isabelle.
"I love your dress!" Aimee gushed to Isabelle, admiring the wine red dress. James and Simon shook hands.
"It's nice to meet you" James said. "I apologize for my wife. She loves all pretty things." He chuckled and Aimee gently poked him in the ribs.

Aline gasped in awe of Klayre's dress. "Bravo! Good show dear!"
Klayre and Cayden bowed playfully and continued to mingle.
Rylan chuckled at his love's enthusiasm. "Dear, I think you might want to calm down," he said as he wrapped both arms around her waist from behind. His touch instantly soothed her.
"Alright, I suppose you are right," Aline acquiesced. But ever the social one, Aline suddenly asked quite loudly, "Well, is Everyone have a splendid time so far!?"
As most of the lingering participants of the masquerade turned their heads towards her, she smiled in anticipation of their answers.
Rylan simply shook his head. She was a handful, but she was his.

Isabelle watches Madame and her man walk the room and smiles to herself.

Aimee Lynn and James walk over and Simon smiles.
"I love your dress!" Aimee gushed to Isabelle, admiring the wine red dress. James and Simon shook hands.
"It's nice to meet you" James said. "I apologize for my wife. She loves all pretty things." He chuckled and Aimee gently poked him in the ribs.
Isabelle smiles kindly. "thank you very much. It was very hard to find."
Simon whispers something in Isabelle's ear and she blushes.
"Excuse us," she says to Aimee Lynn and James, "he wants to dance again."
Simon bows to them both and leds her, once again across the dance floor.
"they're all lovely." she whispers in Simons ear.
"But not as lovely are you." He whispers back, his lips brushing her ear and making her shiver.
She pulls back. "Do you think anyone will guess us?"
Simon smiles again and kisses her softly. "We'll see. I'd say we're doing pretty good."

Damion soon migrates away from his conversation with Rylan, and begins to search for his date. Every second that she was away from his side, he felt a cold stabbing emptiness in his heart. He felt that whenever she left his side half of himself went with her.
He soon spotted her and Aline, and made his way straight to her side and wordlessly took her hand in his; holding it tightly, possesively even. He wouldn't let go for anything.

*As the couple wonder around the room they speak in whispers with eachother*

"Do you think we were being rude showing off like that?" Klayre asks her husband.
"But darling you wanted everyone to see you're dress" He replied.
"Cayden I never said that that was the reason outloud!"
"Klayre you musn't worry. As you told me when I had to put on this monkey suit," Klayre gave Cayden a look, and in return he exclaimed "An actual tie! I mean sweetie come on. But Anyway," he continued not wanting to get into it, "You said to just have fun tonight and remember that we're not ourselves and to enjoy it. And that's what i plan to do". He kisses her lips softly 'Ok?"
"Ok." She replies with a grin.
As they look around Klayre's eyes sparkle as she sees all of the beautiful gowns and masks.
"Oh I wish that I was as pretty as them" She exclaims.
Wisley Cayden just rolls his eyes, knowing that she wasn't looking for a compliment.
Then hearing Aline, Klayre quickly smiles widely at her and loudly exclaims, "We are having a wonderful time! Everything is so beautiful and i absolutely love this idea!" Cayden smiles in agreement and encouragement.

Eden noticed a couple dancing and decided he wanted to dance with his wife. "Excuse us for a minute," he said, taking his wife's warm, delicate hand in his and leading her toward the dance floor. "Dance with me," he said with a smile. It wasn't a question, more of a suggestion, but McKenize wasn't complaining.
Drawing her into his arms, Eden poised himself to begin the dance. As the music began, he took his first step and his wife followed immediately. In a second they were twirling gracefully on the dancefloor. Each of their movements were skilled and elegant, as if they had been born dancing.
The skirt of McKenize's dress swirled around her feet, sweeping the floor. Her hair cascaded over her shoulders and down to the middle of her back. It flowed freely behind her with each turn.
Eden watched with great pleasure as the dim ballroom lights danced across his wife's luminescent skin. She never ceased to amaze him. To him, she was beautiful. Her hazel eyes shimmered with joy, the blue mask defining the color in her eyes.
When the song ended, they twirled again and glided effortlessly into the next dance.

Rylan watched Damion walk rather quickly to his companion. Smart man that Damion.
"Rylan, love, what's wrong?" Aline whispered. He squeezed her hands gently.
"Oh, nothing much. I'm just glad to have you with me." Rylan lightly brushed his lips with hers. It was the briefest of touches, yet her knees had nearly buckled. Only he can do that to me, she thought fondly.

"Look, more people are here! Aren't they so lovely?" Aline bounced quitely.
Rylan laughed and nodded along with bouncing.

To reply to Aline's question, Alex did the following.
"We. Are. Having. A. Decadently. Wonderful. Time," kissing Damion gently on the lips between every word.
"Yes," Damion said as he began to grin, " An absolutely fabulous time." He slowly leaned into Alex to nibble at her pale neck.

Rochelle and Jon walk in, and as they do, Rochelle exclaims, "Why is there so few attendees so far?" Jon quietly hushes her, earning a glare from Rochelle.

Aimee Lynn and James waved goodbye to Isabelle and Simon. As soon as they were out of view, James scooped Aimee up over his shoulder and started carrying her over to the dance floor. He smiled as she beat her fists into his back. When they got therem he gently put her down and pulled her into his arms.
"My mask could have fallen off" She pouted. "Everyone would have found out who we were." He rolled his eyes and pulled her closer.
"We're fine." He said and rubbed comforting circles on her back. She sighed and leaned into him and they danced away.
